About RSP
RSP who can read and comprehend at a 4th grade level or better and score Basic or close to Basic in ELA and/or Math on the CST exam are good candidates for this program.
In the collaboration model, resource students are clustered in general education math and or English classes and resource teachers and/or paraprofessionals go into these classrooms and help all students,but keep a discreet ,watchful eye on the Resource students. In the collaboration model they help implement the accommodations,facilitate school to home communication,co-teach and offer extra help. In the consultative model,a resource teacher supports a general education teacher by providing guidance in instructional strategies and the implementation of accommodations.
