4:26 Indigo Dye and Fiber Arts

Students will create original works using Shibori and tie dye techniques,
All students will need a natural fabric item to dye in class this semester.
EXAMPLES:
Cotton
Linen
Silk
Wool
SYNTHETIC FABRICS LIKE POLYESTER BLENDS OR BLENDS WITH RAYON WILL NOT WORK. THE DYE WON'T ADHERE TO THE FABRIC. STUDENTS CAN DYE PANTS (100 % COTTON WHITE DENIM OR CHINOS), DRESSES, SOCKS, HAND TOWELS AND SHIRTS/BLOUSES.
