Course Description

The major emphasis of our English classes is to promote students' communication skills through a balanced, differentiated language arts program which provides for student growth through appropriate practice in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and critical thinking. The literature-based units provide a framework through which students use English skills to gain perspective on culturally relevant ideas, attitudes, and values.
