Guided Discoveries Guided Discoveries has developed and operates a variety of outdoor education programs and summer camps. Guided Discoveries is a California not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) educational organization. Programs that have been developed and operated by Guided Discoveries include:
• Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI) at Toyon Bay, Cherry Cove and Fox Landing
• Astrocamp, located at an elevation of 5,000' in Idyllwild, California, in the mountains above Palm Springs.
• CIMI Tall Ship Expeditions aboard SSV TOLE MOUR, the largest sailing school vessel on the west coast.
Idyllwild Arts The Idyllwild Arts Summer Program provides high calibre arts instruction and memorable arts immersion workshops to a diverse student population of all ages and abilities. Nearly 2,000 children, youth, adults and families participate in the diverse summer program featuring workshops in all the arts and specifically tailored to all proficiency levels and ages. The Summer program provides children, teens, adults and professional artists intensive practical instruction in all the visual arts and performing arts – sculpture, painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, Native American arts, moving pictures, fashion design, dance, music, theatre and creative writing.  
Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Summer Program The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) identifies top academic students and provides fun and challenging educational programs for students in grades K through 12. Educational programs include summer residential programs, distance education, and family academic programs.
