Schoology

In this class, we use a learning management system (LMS) called Schoology. Learning to navigate a learning management system is an important component of college and career readiness. All assignments are posted on Schoology and students submit work on Schoology. Students may complete their work by hand, take a picture, and upload it to Schoology. Students may also complete assignments directly on their device. Students may check which assignments are due by clicking on “Grades” located below “Materials” and “Updates” in the left-hand navigation bar.  If there is a discrepancy between the grading system in Schoology and the grading system in the syllabus, the policy syllabus will take precedence.

 

One benefit of using Schoology is that many of the apps we use are located in one organized navigation bar. Parents may also use Schoology to communicate with teachers and check grades. Links to specific instructions how to access Schoology are available in the family and caregiver resources at the end of this syllabus.
