Advisory

 Advisory is a quiet way to open the school morning starting with Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC).  At this time also, school-wide announcements are made over the PA from the main office and flyers are distributed that often require parent signatures.  Leadership activities, Second Step (the school's character-building program), meditational coloring, Silent Sustained Reading (SSR) and DJ Fridays are observed on a rotational basis.  Advisory is not a time when students can do written homework assignments from any class that they neglected on the prior night.  Studying for tests, aka "cramming" however is allowed.
