6th Grade Chorus (Period 6)
Course Description
Two periods, 50 or more 6th graders in each one, singing mostly contemporary songs they like to sing, and preparing for a big concert at the end of the semester when they sing together. It's a showcase of selections sung by all 100 of them together, as well as featured soloists, small groups, and choreography.
These students can go on to join the Glee class in 7th and 8th grade. The Glee performs and competes several times each year, including at Disneyland as picture here.
