WRITTEN REPORT

A 3-10 page report in ink and cursive on student's chosen topic( 26 full lines= 1 page)
Students must use a minimum of 3 books from public and/or school library. NO BOOKS FROM HOME! NO COMPUTERS! One encyclopedia may be used---BUT, ENTIRE REPORT MAY NOT BE WRITTEN FROM AN ENCYCLOPEDIA! Periodicals, such as "National Geographic," couunt as one encyclopedia.No part of the written report may be from our text books! Last page of report is to be a bibliography( Form for tihs will be given.).NO WHITE-OUT,CORRECTING TAPE, ERASABLE PEN, OR SCRATCHED-OUT WORDS ARE PERMITTED!


VISUAL PROJECT

Student is to make something related to chosen topic ( i.e. model,bust, diorama, etc.)
Three dimentional projects earn higher grades. Project must be large enough for entire class to see, during oral presentation.



ORAL REPORT

Student must give a 3-5 minute oral presentation in front of the class in which the written report and visual project talked about.Student may use note cards--BUT, MUST NOT READ ENTIRE ORAL OFF OF THEM! Student must talk to the class.
