YEARBOOK STAFF

Yearbook - 7th and 8th Grade
The Yearbook program is for dedicated and responsible students who want to be actively involved in capturing the memories of the school year. Skills in graphic design, photography, copywriting, and interviewing are a part of the course. This is a year-long elective class.

To be considered, students must select Yearbook as their first-choice elective on Hale’s Elective Choice Form, complete the Yearbook Application, and submit a recorded interview. Teachers will be asked to complete a recommendation for student applicants. All application materials will be posted on Schoology in the spring semester.

Yearbook students cannot have grades of D or F or a *U* in work habits and/or cooperation on their 10-week spring report card to be considered for the program. Final placement is based on advisors’ approval and schedule availability.

An informational meeting will be held in the spring semester to explain the program and to assist with applications. Dates and times will be posted in Schoology.

All links, forms, details, and everything needed to apply to Yearbook will be posted in Schoology. Listen to the morning announcements for details.

Parents are asked NOT to assist students in this process, as the student must show responsibility and interest.

If you have any further questions, contact Ms. Seligson in room C204.
