Muslim Contribution Group Project
This project will be completed in the computer lab.
Prompt: Students will make a report entitled “The Islamic Empire; A Source of Wisdom”. The book will consist of Muslim Contributions to society. All students should first watch the Muslim Contributions power point.
The book will include the following:
- Cover Page with title: “The Islamic Empire; A Source of Wisdom” and pictures. Include Group members names, period and date. (5 points)
- Table of Contentswith page numbers and titles. (5 points)
- Muslim Contribution Chart-name of contributions from PowerPoint, colored symbol or picture representing the contribution, and 2 sentence summary. (30 points)
- Muslim Contribution Map: matching colored symbols in correct location from the contribution chart. (20 points)
- Important Contributions: Select two or more contributions (from the PowerPoint or book) and write a paragraph of 5 sentences for each contribution describing why it is important to society. Include a colored picture. (20 points)
- Bibliography: Cite sources using MLA format. You can use easybib.com to help with this. (5 points)
- Muslim Contributions Group Work: List the names of the students next to the jobs that they did in the group project. Each person includes a one paragraph description about the project, how they contributed to the project, and the process of working together. This will be typed and neatly written. (10 Points)
- Formatting and Neatness: Use pen or type written. (5 points)
